Part of Highway 26 was closed due to flooding in the Kinnear area north of the Wind River Range, en route to Dubois. We were forced to take this partially paved, mostly gravel county road for about 10 miles. It was a cool to see some things we might not have otherwise gotten a glimpse of.

The quote was written on a local motel sign and the food was from the only place open right now – a gas station. Its chili nachos. We felt they were “American”, in honor of the holiday, as was the Bud Light.

Today it was a slightly lighter breakfast of fruit salad, buttermilk pancakes, hot blueberries, and sausage. And now we are go back to camping…..but first another day in Cody followed by the 4th of July RODEO!!!!
